According to a source, the Playstation IV will feature the same Blu-Ray drive and the XMB Menu as featured in the Playstation 3. But the news is it will include PlayTV integration, 500gb and 1tb storage capacity as well as featuring touch sensitive surface on the console's glossy polycarbonate surface which allows users to use hand-gesture
movement to scroll through the XMB menus and selecting using push and touch sensitive motion.
The processor running the new Playstation IV is unknown and where ever or not it uses improved cooling systems which would prevent the errors most users would dread to have known as the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD).
The thickness of the console seems to be the same or "slimmer" than the PS3 Slim console itself.
Although this could pose an issue to most users for gaming for long durations.
The design resembles both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 3: Slim models but it is still hard to verify if its the final product or just another prototype for testing. Although we do see there is what to be a new color on the controller however closer inspection shows it resembles the Playstation 3 prototype controller.
This could be just another hoax, although, we like what we see....and what we hear.
